About
Built in Egypt, for Egypt’s gym-goers
RYZE started with a simple question: why do fitness apps make you feel behind? Leaderboards full of strangers, a counter that resets when your aunt invites you to lunch, and food you’ve never eaten.
So we built an app that compares you with one person only: you. What you lifted yesterday becomes your ghost, and today you get the chance to beat it. No points, no rankings, no guilt.
And because we’re Egyptian, the food had to be Egyptian: koshari, ful, taameya and mahshi, in the portions we actually serve. A family feast isn’t a “mistake”, it’s part of life, so it counts as on plan.
RYZE talks like us too: warm Egyptian Arabic, confident and a little funny. “Well done, beast” when you break a record, and “You’re back. That’s what matters.” when you return after a break.
Why “RYZE”?
RYZE means rise: one step up the stair every day. The logo is a Kufic R on a 5×6 grid with one extra volt cell: the extra rep you do today.
What we believe
You vs You
The only comparison that matters is with your past self.
No guilt
Nothing gets wiped, nothing turns red, and no message blames you.
Egyptian first
The language, the food and the exercise names the way we say them at the gym.
Your data is yours
